Easy to tilt-in and clean. That includes the top as well as the bottom glass. Although glass can be heavy, the Sunstream Windows feel light in their track letting anyone clean and operate the windows with relative ease. Yes, Sunstream Windows are qualified in all 50 states. Although we live in Wisconsin, our climate may be as hot as Arizona's and blistering cold like Alaska's. We know that Sunstream will hold up for a lifetime against whatever weather Wisconsin decides to hit us with.Sunstream Windows have pinch-fusion welded corners. They are melted together and will not separate. Other vinyl windows and all fiberglass windows are made with screws and hope they stay together. Sunstream Windows will never separate at the corner and their corners will never leak.Interesting, but one of the nicest features on the window is that the camlock is embedded in the frame. Most windows have an unsightly lock that sometimes sits 1.5" above the frame. These are so ugly you can see them from the road. Sunstream Camlocks are embedded and look beatiful.Where do windows leak the most air? Sunstream Windows put up the best line of defense against air at the middle. Sunstream Windows Interlock when closed, they have triple weatherstripping, and added fiberglass reinforced strength to prevent the wind from entering.Our standard HP2 glass is fully equipped with Double-pane 7/8" glass system and Multi-Coat Low-E with Argon Gas. This allows for the glass alone to have an R-Value of 4. However, if you are looking more, we can do it with triple-pane glass with Krypton gas and glass R-Values of over 8. Would you buy a refridgerator without insulation? How about your home? Our windows come fully prepared for our Wisconsin weather. They are insulated inside the frames of the window and the sashes. Most windows don't have any insulation. Sunstream Windows are well insulated for your comfort.Child Safety Locks or Night Vent Locks, no matter what you call them, they will protect anyone from passing through the window. Flip them open and the window will not open further. Allowing for unlocked windows to remain safe. The Sunstream Window has a lift rail that blends with the window. Also, the bottom of the window includes multiple weatherstripping and an additional channel to maintain strength along the sill. This is a great design and a must see.Easy Clean Glass is available as an option to the Sunstream Window. Easy Clean is a baked on process that allows the glass to become smoother. Smother glass means the dirt doesn't stay - making it easier to clean your windows.Yes, these windows have the look of a woodgrain without the maintenance. When installed, you'll have a hard time telling if your new windows are wood or vinyl.
