Your remodeling project will typically begin between 7:30-8:00 a.m., when our team arrives on site. If there is any adjustment in start time, our office will notify you in advance.

Project timelines vary depending on the size of your home, the scope of work, the materials selected, and weather conditions. Some project can be done relatively quickly, while others may take longer due to customization or design details.

Substantial completion means your project has reached the point where the work is essentially finished and your home can be fully used as intended. At this stage, the main installation is complete, and only minor items such as touch-ups and small adjustment may remain.

A punch list is a final checklist of small items that need attention after the main work on a project is complete. These items are typically minor such as touch-ups and/or adjustments and do not prevent the space from being fully usable.

Your project is officially complete once all contracted work has been finished and the final payment has been made. The project meets agreed-upon specifications and quality standards, and final documentation such as warranties and care information is provided.

Manufacturer warranties vary depending on the specific products that were selected for your project. Many come with their own coverage for performance and durability, provided directly by the manufacturer.

If you need to file a warranty claim, start by submitting your concern in writing to our team within 14 days of discovery, photos and descriptions of the issue are encouraged with the initial claim. We’ll help determine whether the issue falls under a labor or manufacturer warranty and guide you through next steps. If applicable, we’ll assist with coordinating inspections, documentation, and communication with the manufacturer to make the process as smooth as possible. Routine maintenance helps keep your siding and windows looking great and performing as intended. In general, occasional cleaning with mild soap and water and regular visual inspections are all that’s needed. It’s also important to keep the surrounding area clear of debris and address any issues promptly with our team if they arise.

Siding Unlimited does not recommend using a power washer to clean your siding and windows. The high pressure can force water behind siding panels, damage seals, and potentially cause long-term issues. Instead, we suggest using a soft cloth or brush with a gentle cleaning solution and a garden hose for safe, effective cleaning.

Window condensation forms when moisture in the air settles on cooler glass surfaces. Changes in temperature, seasonal weather shifts, and indoor humidity levels can all contribute to this. Some condensation is normal, especially during colder weather or temperature swings. If concerns arise, our team is happy to help determine the cause and recommend next steps.
